From there he went on to complete his law degree at St. Mary's University, where he excelled academically, serving as President of the school's Phi Delta Phi Society and Senior Associate Editor of St. Mary's Law Journal; he was also a member of the Order of the Barristers. Mr. Walsh graduated from St. Mary's in 1984and was admitted to the Texas State Bar the same year. He is also licensed to practice law in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas, the state of Missouri, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri, the Eighth Circuit of the U.S. Court of Appeals, and the U.S. Supreme Court.
Following his academic success, Mr. Walsh went on to co-author and write the opening chapter of the book "Missouri Tort Law," and an article entitled "Demonstrative Evidence," which was featured in the St. Louis Lawyer journal.
In addition to his educational accomplishments, Mr. Walsh is an active member of the legal community. He is a member of the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis, the American Board of Trial Advocates, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America and the Lawyer's Association of St. Louis. He has presented a number of insurance-related seminars to practicing attorneys, including the “Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist Law” seminar, which was sponsored by the National Business Institute from 2000 to 2003.
